Dressing Rooms Interiors Studio

When did Dressing Rooms Interiors open? I started selling online in 2011 on Etsy, then One Kings Lane and Chairish. I officially opened my brick and mortar studio in November 2015 with a millions steps in between. I joke that my superhero talent is finding the most expensive thing in the room, so why not put that skill to use! No but seriously I've always loved hunting for pieces and I believe I have a unique perspective.

What sets Dressing Rooms Interiors apart from the rest? We rent our pieces to photographers, prop stylist and event planners. We offer a playful mix of vintage pieces in bright colors and contrasting patterns. Nothing against neutrals, but I'm not afraid of color or mixing patterns. I also rent the studio for small private events.

Describe your style and what you look for?  My heart is rooted in the hollywood regency style with a strong Asian influence but my favorite pieces have fretwork, faux bamboo, brass, chrome, warm woods and worn leathers.

What are all the services you offer? We help clients with styling and paint color selection as well as full design services.

How can locals purchase your products? Is renting for events available?  Items can be purchased via our website HERE.  We also offer vintage rentals.

Where do you get the pieces in your store?  Now a huntress never reveals her sources! I don't have a single source, but I travel throughout North Carolina, parts of South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee to estate sales and flea markets.

What has been your favorite part about opening a business in Charlotte?  The support of other small business owners has been amazing. If I don't what a customer is looking for I'll send them to another shop and vise versa.

What do you want CLT to know about you and your company? The studio is a reflection of my style. I only purchase items I would love to have in my own home. All items are selected by me and are one-of-a-kind, so when its gone it's really gone.
